Screaming Grief

This piece talks about grief, religion, health complications for a loved one, and death.   As I grow older, I gain new experiences, new loves, new dislikes, and opinions, and I’ve lived a thousand lives since the last time I had been back home in upper Appalachia. My hair was still a crimson, fiery and reflective in the bright autumnal sun as I visited my first set of paternal grandparents. I have two due to a divorce. There was a silent understanding as the family gathered around the table for a hot meal as the sun settled down over the rolling hills in the west. The golden lab, Max, was checking out the table, lingering near me as I overheard my grandmother as she held onto my mom while coming in from the porch balcony.   “I’m ready to die. I’ve had a good life.”   The understanding grew heavier, somber, and I could only remember thinking, “I wish you have the mercy of going on your own terms.”   Unfortunately, Life has a sick sense of humor, and the family must wa...

Summary: During Shmi's funeral, Anakin struggles to grapple with the heavy grief before leaving to rescue Obi-Wan. Notes: Hi, hello. I am finally posting something new! This is based off of Waiting on a Miracle by Post Malone. When I first heard that song, I could not stop thinking about the shot of Anakin kneeling in front of her grave, and then I made myself more emo. Like my Lazarus Drug piece, I took some creative liberties. Posted on AO3 & Tumblr . Disclaimer: I do not own any characters, locations, or anything within the Star Wars universe. Hope to leave, escape the planet and never look back. Then, he did escape, but there was a catch. Always a catch. His mother couldn’t leave, and he had that hope to traverse back to the wast...

Summary: During ROTJ on the Death Star, Vader confronts the conflicted feelings finally upon seeing Luke tortured by the Emperor. Stepping in, he lays down his own life in order to save his son - and the Galaxy. Notes: So, one night I was listening to Lazarus Drug by Meg Washington, and then was possessed by visions from Anakin. Hopefully, I captured it well enough. Also, pulled from the novelization a little, but did try to do my own, because I don't like some things from it! Everything hurts!!! Posted on AO3 & Tumblr . Blue lightning crackled around the catwalk that lead to the elevator, lights flashing and illuminating the two Sith Lords as Luke crumpled to the ground between freedom and being a tool for the Em...

Hello There!

Hi! Welcome. Check out the about page if you haven't done so already! I'll try to post regularly, but no promises. I'm sure after a while, I'll forget... I'll make reminders or something. Honestly, this post is a test to see how the layout looks and how I can adjust it.     Though, the first post I'll make will be a review over my initial listen of Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land and Fear + Love by MARINA. I finally settled down and listened to them while I played some Animal Crossing on my Switch, and it was a whole vibe.       Expect my personal posts to be more ~ chill ~ with vocabulary and things. My writing will reflect the correct tone needed, LOL. Though, now it's kind of funny thinking about Anakin saying "slay." Ahsoka probably taught him the newest slang in the galaxy.      Anyways, I will also post (in a few heartbeats) my recent fanfic that I did as a little POV work as well as practicing sho...
